About me

I am a technology entrepreneur, co-founder, and startup investor.

I help early-stage and growth-stage businesses to build, sell, and scale innovative software applications with scalable business models.

I provide strategic leadership and execution advice across go-to-market strategy, product development, and financial management.

I was previously Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Land App, an early-stage SaaS startup which I led from £0 to £1m ARR and profitability in 6 years.

I am passionate about how we can use technology to create more sustainable systems in food, construction, and consumer supply chains.

Product development

  • Define product strategy and product KPIs to align with 1, 3, and 5 year business objectives
  • Build product roadmaps with Agile methodology to maximise product success and minimise development cost
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to identify pain points and growth opportunities
  • Prepare low fidelity wireframes and work with UX/UI designers to quickly prototype product features
  • Translate user requirements into technical stories for software engineers and QA testers using Behaviour Driven Development
  • Implement product analytics across product portfolio to monitor app performance and inform product priorities
  • Support R&D initiatives including AI/ML applications by aligning business objectives with small-scale experiments

Financial management

  • Review and prepare KPI, P&L, and Cash Flow forecasts based on business strategy
  • Review and prepare fundraising materials such as teasers, pitch decks, financial models, and term sheets
  • Establish strategic planning for growth using OKR framework that helps teams to set, measure, and own SMART goals
  • Write and advise on board materials and shareholder communications
  • Review and prepare R&D tax relief claims for UK businesses with both technical report writing and cost analysis
  • Review and prepare innovation proposals for government grant funding
  • Advise on configuration of outsourced finance, legal, and HR functions to minimise costs for early-stage businesses
